Transport Management

Transport management, often known as transportation and logistics management, is the study of moving people and products from one location to another. However, it is more than just transporting commodities around the world by land, train, sea, or air. It also looks into the activities of production, demand, delivery, and acquisition.

A Transportation Management degree provides a thorough examination of the flow of people and products, as well as the methods used to analyse and quantify transportation concerns. Among the many topics covered are economic and management decisions, organisational behaviour, marketing management, operations and materials management, business communication, introduction to logistics and supply chain management, accounting in logistics, multi-model transportation, transportation laws, and supplier relationship management.

These courses aim to strengthen transferrable skills such as critical thinking, solution-based strategy, constructive communication, and negotiating abilities, in addition to experience in the Transportation Management System (TMS) and other strategic business tools.
