Philosophy is the systematic filed of study whose spectrum encompasses ideas and issues in every area of human existence. Its methods can be applied to an infinite variety of problems like a reasoned pursuit of fundamental rights, a quest for a comprehensive understanding of the world, a study of principles of conduct and much more.

Additionally, Ethics is a branch of philosophy that focuses on the rational justification of one’s moral judgements. It considers what is morally right or wrong, just and unjust and in a broad sense, ethics reflects the way people relate to nature and other people, freedom, responsibility and justice.

Modules in Philosophy mainly includes logic, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, ethics, philosophy of science and political philosophy. Many modules are heavily essay-based, which can lead to independent research and dissertations.
