Pedagogy

Pedagogy is the study of instructing and preparing individuals, particularly in academic settings. It addresses a variety of topics, including as teaching methods, educational psychology, evaluation, and feedback, and heavily draws on that field of study. The objectives of education and the most effective strategies for achieving them are also examined by pedagogy.

Pedagogy aims to answer questions like: What are the newest and most effective teaching techniques, what are the best educational systems doing differently around the world, how to engage and keep students' curiosity throughout the curriculum and how can new technology be incorporated into lesson planning and the classroom.

A typical curriculum includes topics like Human development, diversity in youth care, critical perspectives in education, research methodologies, pedagogy in practise, intercultural education, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation, ethics, teaching and supervision, and so on and as each student brings their own perspectives, strengths, skills, and personal experiences to the classroom, pedagogy educates its students on social skills and cultural norms. With each new job they are given, pedagogy instils in students the skills necessary for critical thinking and sparked creativity.
