Scholarship

Finnish universities have more than 400 undergraduate and graduate programmes available. The two primary applications for the autumn semester's admission are for the bachelor's programme in January and the master's programme in late November to late January.

Scholarships for International Students:

  • Finland Foreign Correspondents' Programme for International Journalists: Long-distance travel, local transport, lodging, and some meals will all be covered.
  • University of Helsinki Scholarships for International Students: This scholarship offers a sum of €10,000 to cover tuition fees between €13,000 and €18,000.
  • University of Tampere Scholarships for International Students: Based on academic achievement, it gives 50% or 100% reimbursement of the tuition fee with a potential €7,000 bonus.
  • University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students: Only the tuition fees will be covered; living expenses will not. International Master's Scholarship in Protein Science at the University of Oulu, Finland: It provides a yearly allowance of €4,000 to cover living costs.
  • University of Helsinki International Student Scholarship Grant: It will provide each grant recipient with a sum between €1,000 and €1,500 that is intended to help students who want to stay in their home country after finishing their studies.
  • Aalto University Scholarship: It will pay for living expenses and education. Category C will receive 50% of the scholarship, or €8,000 for two years, while categories A and B will each receive a full scholarship of €16,000 for two years.
  • UNU-WIDER Visiting PhD Fellowship for International Researchers: With an income of €1,600 per month for living expenditures, it will cover the cost of travel and medical insurance.
  • United Nations University – WIDER PhD Internships for International Students: With a monthly payment of €1,600 for living expenses, it will cover the cost of travel and medical insurance.
  • Finland Government Scholarships for International Students: It provides students with a monthly grant of €1,500 to help them manage their finances while studying in Finland.
  • CIMO Doctoral Fellowship for International Students: Students will receive €1,500 in assistance for living costs.
  • EDUFI Fellowships Program for Young Doctoral Students: It provides €1,500 per month for living costs. For Postdoctoral Research in Science and Medicine at the University of Turku a monthly stipend of €3,326 is given.
