Scholarship

Students from other countries enrolled in the Young Leaders Programme are eligible for the Japanese Government Scholarships. Students can pursue Master's degrees through this programme.

Benefits: The scholarship provides students a reasonable ¥242,000 monthly to help with expenses. This sum won't be raised further because it currently covers a variety of fees.

Japanese Government Undergraduate Funding for Australian Students Scholarship Description:

Domestic Australian students majoring in Social Science, Humanities, and Natural Science at the undergraduate level are eligible to apply for this grant.

Benefits: Students who qualify for the scholarship will get ¥117,000 monthly to help cover their tuition and airfare home.

DOCOMO International Student Scholarship: 

This scholarship enables international students to enrol in Masters-level courses in communication and information processing technology at selected Japanese universities. 

Benefits: The scholarship provides a monthly payment of ¥120,000 for two years.

Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program:

With the help of this scholarship, international students from financially backward countries who have the necessary expertise can enrol in Masters-level programmes at universities in Japan, the United States, and Africa in the area of Multi-subject and Development Relations.

Benefits: The scholarship covers the cost of tuition and travel, and departure/arrival airfare.

Japan Foundation for UNU Scholarship:

With the help of this scholarship, international students from underdeveloped nations will be able to enrol in Masters-level courses at UN Universities.

Benefits: The scholarship provides a sum of ¥120,000 yen to help students with their living and tuition costs for two years. The student is responsible for covering the costs of travel, visas, and insurance.

Rotary Peace Fellowships Scholarship:

This scholarship will enable international students to pursue Master's and Short-Training level programmes at Duke, Bradford, Queensland, Uppsala, Chulalongkorn, and Makerere Universities, as well as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and International Christian University Japan in the fields of Peace Studies and conflict resolution.

SATO YO International Scholarship Foundation Program at Kyushu University:

With the help of this scholarship, international students from underdeveloped nations can study at Kyushu University at the Bachelors, Masters and doctoral levels in any discipline.

Benefits: Undergraduates receiving the scholarship will receive ¥150,000 per month, while graduates will receive ¥180,000 monthly.

Japanese Government Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students 2019:

With the help of this scholarship, international students from nations with good relations with Japan will be able to enrol in Bachelor's degree programmes at Japan University in humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.

Benefits: The scholarship provides ¥117,000 a month for tuition and other costs, as well as departure and arrival flight costs, plus an additional ¥2,000 to ¥3,000 for research-related studies.
