The University of Stirling is a public university in Stirling Scotland. It was founded in 1967 by the royal charter and run by a visionary who felt the need for a change in society. The visionary was none other than Lord Robbins who was an economist and the first Chancellor of the university. Robbins knew that skilled individuals were necessary for my workforce for a future ensured of wealth and wellbeing. Education is not just theoretical but should be a practical upbringing of students henceforth bringing a purpose and the University of Stirling has earned itself a reputation for high-quality teaching and internationally acclaimed research. The university has over 14,000 students from over 120 nationalities and 92,000 alumni in 170 countries. The University of Stirling has a structured and organized faculty comprising several departments, institutes, and centers.

Learning, teaching, and research are grouped into five faculties:
