In New Zealand, the Institute is located in Wellington which was established in 2012. It is a state-of-the-art cooking school with trained French-trained chef tutors and world-class equipment and facilities.

Students of the Institute receive practical and theoretical education and training in culinary arts, cooking and hospitality management. The programs offered at Le Cordon Bleu include diplomas and degree courses in areas like Cuisine, Pastry and Confectionary, Hospitality Management, Gastronomy and Gourmet. The Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business program is a 3-year course that offers practical training and education to students.

Le Cordon Bleu’s Career Services department provides career-related support and guidance to students and alumni of the Institute. CVs and applications are personally scrutinised by the Career Services Manager who also provides suggestions and feedback. Even after graduating students still have access to the Institute’s career services to help them connect with employers.

In the final 10 weeks of their course, students can take up internships. This gives them job experience and prepares them for the vibrant and fast-paced hospitality industry. The Career Management department helps students find appropriate and suitable placements and internships to enhance their skills.
