The AHTS Training and Education is a 40-year-old hospitality school in Australia. It was founded in Adelaide in the year 1981. AHTS is the first nationally recognized and Nationally Accredited Hospitality School functioning in South Australia, under the Australian Vocational Education and Training system. The Australian Government Commonwealth Register of International Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) and Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) approves the operation of AHTS Training and Education as a Registered Training Organization (RTO). This organization successfully launched the careers of over 14,000 graduates, locally and internationally. It started with offering short-term courses including barista training and bar operations, then expanded to qualified business, automotive courses, hospitality, and cookery. The training and education provided at AHTS make it a perfect place for students to kick-start their future. 

AHTS is a land of opportunities providing students with quality training and education, making them work-ready after completion of their graduation. On the campus, students develop their skills across various spots ranging from the training in the kitchen to the student's café and a function center. Trainees have placement opportunities in regions throughout Australia at 5-star hotels and resorts; fine dining restaurants, wineries, bars, and cafes. The centrally located campuses are just a minute's walk from each other, and they are easily accessible by bus, tram, train, and other public transportation. AHTS allows students to choose from a good variety of courses including Non-AQF qualification for General English and EAP (English for Academic Purposes), full qualifications of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery / Hospitality to the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. They can also choose courses from Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Diploma of Automotive Technology, and short courses like RSA, FSA, Food and Beverage, Barista, and Bar Operations among other short-term courses.

It is a world-class avenue for training equipped with the best infrastructure suitable for commercial training kitchens. At ‘Oui Chef’ students have individual practical spaces for learning hands-on skills, using the facilities and equipment as per industry requirements. 
  • This training and education institute conducts exciting events from time to time, allowing Commercial Cookery and Hospitality students to work as part-timers or full-timers to complete their placement on the campus.
